Today

I'm a day late with this post -- the trip back from West Virginia knocked me for a loop and beat me when I was down -- but I wanted to join the large group of well-wishers cheering for Susan today.

I've had the privilege of meeting Susan in person twice now (and unbelievably, discovering that we'd corresponded a few years ago when our blogs weren't even a twinkle in our eyes) and I must say that you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with a more infectious smile.  Her passion for life is evident whenever you talk to her, and I know she's ready to begin life anew after today's surgery for inflammatory breast cancer.
